Public is just what the name suggests: a place for all to gather in good company. Rooted in craftsmanship and community, it’s Halifax’s newest all-day café, bakery, and wine bar where bread is baked daily and shared often.
Everything at Public rises from the same place: country bread, baked daily in the finest French ovens. Early guests are greeted with French pastries and breakfast goods, while midday brings rustic tartines and sandwiches. Come evening, our chefs turn out artisanal pizzas paired with a thoughtful wine list.
