Q, RCR Hospitality’s newest restaurant is an authentic barbeque joint modeled after the unrivaled southern smokehouses of the U.S. “Barbeque Belt.” Since opening in April of 2010, Q has secured a following of locals who appreciate the intense flavours of meat that has been cooked “low and slow.” Guests enjoy the casual, unpretentious atmosphere and really appreciate the rolls of paper towel stacked on each table and the communal hand-washing station at the front of the room. Wood floors and benches salvaged from a 200-year-old church in Queensland, Nova Scotia lend to the southern charm. Friendly servers call you by name when your order is ready and classic blues music emanates from the speakers.
