  • Created the concept of “The Ultimate Lobster Supper”®.
  • Thousands of tons of lobsters served! (Yes, we've been counting.)
  • Hosted Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip at the Cunard Centre during her most recent visit to Canada
  • Hosted former President of the United States, Bill Clinton at the Cunard Centre
  • Catered the dinner for the prestigious Order of Canada, hosted by the Governor General the second time it was held outside of Ottawa.
  • Hosted the President of the US of A, George W., at Pier 21 and were then called upon to serve Condoleezza Rice at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
  • A long history of turning meals into “experiences.” Over the years, we have developed many authentic theme menus. Our guests have been able to travel back in time to feast with the likes of Alexander Keith and many have also experienced the tastes, sights and sounds of the final meal on board the Titanic.
  • Recognized Halifax's need for a new multipurpose event centre and took on the challenge of converting an old cargo shed into what the Cunard Centre is today!
  • Built a state–of–the–art kitchen at the Cunard Centre which allows for the preparation of restaurant–quality meals for up to 2200 guests at the same time.
  • Hosted a Buddhist wedding ceremony for 1700 guests
  • Served Mick Jagger at ONYX
  • Served Sir Paul McCartney at the Lord Nelson Hotel
  • CUT is the only restaurant in the city to dry age its beef in its own dry aging cooler.
  • ONYX and CUT are both recipients of the coveted Wine Spectator Award.
  • The recipient of the first Meeting Professionals International Influence Award in Atlantic Canada.
  • Helped turn the Cunard Centre into "The Big Apple" for a performance by Jerry Seinfeld
  • Retained many of the same staff members for a decade or more — no easy feat in the hospitality industry.
  • Holds the record for the highest ratio of repeat clients of any caterer in the city.
  • When Tall Ships and other festivals hit the Halifax Waterfront, RCR is there, doing what we do best — keeping the crowds happy with great food and drink!
  • From foie gras for top executives to impromptu tailgate parties, RCR has done it all — and often, all in the same day!
